about me

i want to get paid to write books for kids of all ages.

i was born near hershey, pa which explains a lot (mostly my affinity for chocolate and cows) but raised in the great state of new jersey.

i was straightedge and all about punk rock in high school but i learned to loosen up in college. i love music (all kinds! even country, take that 16 year old self!), photography, writing and laughing.

i graduated college in 2006 and blinked. it is now 2012 and i am married to my best friend, which turned me into a navy wife up until a few months ago. Now he is out and we are starting our next exciting stage in life. Oh oh and i am a mommy! I adore being at home with my completely exhausting toddler daughter and newborn (Jan 2012) son.

Really wish I had time and energy to shower and dry and straighten my hair daily! No makeup but it still felt great to look like an adult today :)
