i was never very good with titles

about me

i want to get paid to write books for kids of all ages.

i was born near hershey, pa which explains a lot (mostly my affinity for chocolate and cows) but raised in the great state of new jersey.

i was straightedge and all about punk rock in high school but i learned to loosen up in college. i love music (all kinds! even country, take that 16 year old self!), photography, writing and laughing.

i graduated college in 2006 and blinked. it is now 2012 and i am married to my best friend, which turned me into a navy wife up until a few months ago. Now he is out and we are starting our next exciting stage in life. Oh oh and i am a mommy! I adore being at home with my completely exhausting toddler daughter and newborn (Jan 2012) son.

EMO MAMA

Tomorrow is Cece’s preschool orientation. Then Thursday is her first day. It is just two mornings a week but I am already and emotional wreck. My baby girl is going to school. What is happening?!
